Need commuter rail service - Tumkur

Dear all, i am basically tumkur city resident, but working in bangalore in private sector. like me thousands people are working in bangalore who are depends on train and buses for travel regulary.
in these days, tumkur is also developing like any thing as people are preferring that to save some money in their regular earnings.
in such condition, they do not have specific time for leaving houses and reaching back home as most of the people traveling like me are working in private. Of course, some thousands government employees are also traveling along with us.
here our question is that, no right transport infrastructure is there between these two cities and that is not at all a big issue to make it out.
now railway track has been doubled recently and this train traveling is always best for the daily travelers. but no one is bothering to increase the train service between tumkur and bangalore, if they do so really that will help lot of unaccountable people.
can any of the people reading my above points are ready to help and join with me to proceed further.
please giver your feedback and inputs.

Tumkur like suburb to Bangalore

People living in Tumkur and working in Bangalore and vice versa should get trains for the peak hours may be non-stop or limited stop. I think railways is concerned about its revenue since mostly pass holders travel in this train and that is why not introducing trains this way.
Let them increase pass fare a bit for the non-stop trains and start non-stop train services facilitating travelling during office hours. 1 hour is the journey time in a non-stop train compared to 1.5 hours in bus and 2 hours by a passenger train.
There are too many stations between Bangalore and Tumkur. As soon as the train gets pickup, it has to stop in the subsequent station.
Another option is to electrify the Bangalore - Tumkur stretch, eliminate some redundant stops and run EMUs which has got instant pickup. 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes may be possible even with some stoppings.

Well, one could similarly have train service from say Yeshwantpur to Kengeri which would greatly benefit millions. Most of North, North East Bangalore would be better off using the existing train lines ot get around to the south than any other way - Kengeri to Malleshwaram is a mere 13 km by train but take an hour to drive. Anyway, I think this is something `they' dont care about as there is no money to be made.

There have been many posts highlighting the lack of participation of railways in solving transportation issues in Bangalore. I also have posted some suggestions because I thought it is more natural and efficient. This post is different as it is from someone who actually needs such a service. I hope your efforts will be successful. There could be such efforts from other suburban areas like Ramnagara, Bangarpet, Kanakapura, Hosur, Hoskote etc. so that we have a real metro trains in Bangalore. There should be trains at least trains every half an hour to those places. This will also reduce some congestion in Bangalore.
An expanded list where trains are better than buses would be
- If you are traveling more than 150 km.
- If you are traveling for more than 50 km every day.

Pachhi sir - you post ended with "is anyone willing to join you to take this further". And I don't see any responses to that yet. I stay a bit too far in Whitefield, but will join if you are willing to organize a meeting with South Western Railway.
The problem is - I don't know who is the person to go meet with requests like these. Do you want to go ask someone at Tumkur station? If you can get a name and phone number, we can try organize a meeting to proceed with this.

I thankfully acknowledge your warm full response.
yes, i am asking to my friends to whether any one is having interest in my this issue. if so i am asking them to give their sincere feedback like you, because in our country it is very difficult to ask or get any kind of good service from any body. therefore, i am wishing to make a group of friends and after combining exchanging the views, opinions and thoughts, we will really find a good way to achieve our deserved purpose.
And you know at all times, we will not having time to meet the concerned person in personally. so, what will be the answer for that. the answer should be practical one like that we have to bring out the matter to that person very strongly. if we fail to get the right response from him in right time, we have to bring that matter to his next superior authority and like that.
