Thanks Sanjay for the initiative. I would like to participate.

Excellent initiative sanjay. It is very important to develop his contacts. It might also be useful to develop contact with his students current and past.
in the long run the objective should be atleast some people from his group use praja as a notepad to share their thoughts. the goal should be that through this interaction we laymen should be able to pick up atleast some basics about the science of waterbodies.
also if they are going on study missions to collect samples or something, perhaps some of us can volunteer and help with logistics.

Dear Sanjay,
Thanks for taking the initiative. I would be very happy to join the group going to meet Prof. T.V. Ramachandra next Saturday 5th Sept.
Looking forward to being advised about the time.
I hope all of you have seen Ritesh's posting where he has sent a PPT on Lakes that BBMP appears to have prepared in November 2008.
I have a number of scientific papers on various Lake rejuvenation issues which I would like to share with Prof. Ramachandra. I hope we will have occassion to do so. Shall try to condense the scientific papers into a PPT format so that all Praja-gals too can get an overview.

once you confirm the time. Have been missing last few meetings, apologize for that, but this is excellent initiative Sanjay.
