CRS Publicity through morning newspaper distribution!

We simply can not sit idle and expect Commuter Rail Project to happen miraculously? Can not wait for the thousands to support us before we do our bit. Even though we are handful, but we have come this far. Believe me if we had waited for that ideal moment and mass support, Commuter Rail campaign would not have made the progress that it has made today. We are almost there but need our last and final effort.
In the process engineering we are taught a golden a rule that, it is better to start working on a reasonably completed plan than to wait eternally for a fully completed plan.
Taking that lesson forward, here with I am putting forward a suggestion and a humble request to take our commuter rail campaign campaign forward.
You all might have seen the flyers/pamphlets in teh morning news papers. These are inserted at the local distribution in our areas. I was told for a nominal price, newspaper agents will inserts these flyers and get delivered to all the subscribers through their respective newspapers.
I would suggest the same method to distribute the CRS publicity flyer through these newspaper agent. Here is a sample of CRS flyer that we could use for distribution.
I am aware that it costs a bit to get it printed and distribute through newspapers. If you are interested please do not hesitate to contact Praja Namma Rail Team ( IDS, sanjeev, myself, srinidhi, dvsquare, hemanth). If we have good number fo request we can get it printed in bulk and also reimburse the cost for distribution.
If want other themes, slogans, please let me know I can design and upload it here.

I have a volunteer for distribution in J C Nagar and R T Nagar localities. This volunteer is a very commited supporter of Praja and its campaigns.

If the praja members would do it in apartments where we have representation, that itself might take us some far

I think the "Train every 5-10 minutes" is too optimistic. It can be rephrased: "Trains at frequent (or regular) intervals". "Round the clock service" must also be omitted.
The idea of pamphlets is a good one - we have a number of prajas working in various IT firms - volunteers could help with distribution. Distribution with newspapers can also work well, I think though costs would be higher.

Numbers are based on data from the RITES report - Sec 3.6, where it categorically says -
"...A typical metro system is designed to achieve a peak frequency of 20 trains in hour. If a conventional train system can dedicate 6 train paths in an hour for commuter train, then the CRS will have the same capacity as a metro train system.
As seen earlier, in Mumbai Suburban system, Western Railway runs suburban or EMU trains with a 3 minute frequency and Central Railway with a 4 minute frequency. Even if we assume conservative figure of 4 minutes of Central Railway, to run 6 trains the total time taken up would be around 24 minutes in an hour..."
I am game for putting phrases that conveys the message that trains are available at frequent and regular intervals.

Numbers do not imply 5-6 min frequency - note the statement:
If a conventional train system can dedicate 6 train paths in an hour for commuter train, then the CRS will have the same capacity as a metro train system.
The section compares capacity (i.e. passenger volumes that can be transported) between Metro & Suburban rail & not frequencies. This comparison has been made with respect to shared tracks capacity to operate both suburban & 'non-suburban' (i.e. long distance) trains & from the point of view of allowing sufficient time for running non-suburban trains too.
If 6 trains are operated per hour, 24 minutes (6 x 4) would be utlized for suburban services, leaving 36 minutes for non-suburban services. The frequency would then be one departure every ten minutes on average (60 / 6) - even this capacity is very huge (i.e equivalent to Metro capacity) & may take years for such demand to develop (except during peak hours).
For 5-6 minute frequency, infrastructure needs to be hugely improved (only 18 minutes left for non-surban services, which might fall short of even present-day needs) + there has to be demand equivalent to almost double the urban metro system being built.
