SWR Tenders for Bangalore division - Will it help Namma Railu cause?

Here I am trying get all Tenders called by SWR in Bangalore Division. These infrastructure will  help CRS implementation.

 

1. Yeshvanthpur: Extension of FOB from Platform 2/3 to 4, 5 & 6

Tender called on 28.05.2012  value : Rs 78.42 Lakhs,  Duration of Completion 6 months from Tender award.

Till now no progress on the ground  and this is not getting connected to METRO station which will be drawback.

Construction of RUB near LC No. 4 & 4B at km 7/600-700 on Yeshwantpur - Tumkur line & Yeshwantpur Bypass on Outer ring road near Jalahalli for the entry to sleeper factory, coach stabling & pit line near Yeshwantpur yard (YPR-TK/92)

ROB at Hoody costing Rs 7.86 Crore

Construction of approaches on both sides of Road Over Bridge in lieu of LC.No.133 at Railway Km.337/400-500 between Krishnarajapuram - Whitefield Railway station near Hoodi.( ROB/LC133AP)

Tender was called in June'2012,  any progress on the ground  and how this will help vechile movement and also Train movements, any one has throw the light on this

ROB at Sarjapur Road : between Heelalige & Carmelram station

Cost Rs 17.27 Crore

Tender was called in July'2012 ,  any progress  as time rovided is 12 Months.

Yesvantpur Station getting small improvements

Cost of Tender Rs 62.36 Lakhs, Tender called,   on 01.06.2012, 6 months for completion

SW-I: Yeshvanthpur - Pro Provision of IRS type platform shelter for 5 bays on PF No.6 on TK end. SW-II:YPR-Provision of IRS type platform shelter for 10 bays on PF No.1 on SBC and TK ends.

Tender work Cost : 1.16 Crore, Tender dt : 26.09.2012, period for completion 6 months

These small things including FOB extending to 4,5 & 6 PF should help id disburing passengers fast.

Nayandahalli Station Should had some improvements

There should be some plan to improve Nayandahalli station for easier interchange to ORR bus stop and Namma Metro Station. Also for the proposed Light Rail.
