RTI - Commuter Rail project
Written By silkboard - 1 June, 2010
RTI request for CRS project. A document with questions for south western railway is available there. Please suggest if it is good as it is. Can break it up into 2-3 separate RTIs if you think that will increase the chances of getting better and faster reply.

Ritesh,
Its moving one step for CRS. Good job done by Ritesh, long pending one. Railway will give control number which will be updated in their RTI website & we will be able to see scaned copy in their website after some days..
Also by splitting into two RTI applications, we will get better replies from authorities.

same website. They would have given control number. In this website, you have to use option status of application.
They may take a week to upload scaned copy onto the website with Status.
I want to file one more RTI application with SWR on utilization of Yesvanthpur Station. Here station is very much under utilized as Trains proceeding to Yelahanka and Hebbal are generally starting from Platfrom 5 & 6. Trains going to Hubli are operated at platfrom 1,2 &3 This has created real mess for trains crossing just after the platforms. As trains have to wait for the other train to cross either to Yelahanaka or to hubli. With every train having 20 boggies, with safety, imagine how much track availability has been wasted. If they start trains going to Yelahanak or Hebbal from platfrom 1,2 3 and to Hubli 4,5, & 6, it will be smooth traffic movement with any crossing. As this very much important for the CRS availability of Station.

Utilization as I know in Mysore track
