don't they have these in the US - a local community channel that all cables must carry? We sort of have these 'local' channels, just that these only run pirated movies and movie song based programs :)

Wouldn't it be great if they televise, broadcast or webcast these meetings live? Not requiring physical presence could lead to more participation, isn't it? The risk would be that you will get lot of noisy folks in as only the interested folks will take the pain to attend this on a weekend morning. Does anyone maintain a log/transcript of these meetings? I checked CIVIC, couldn't find anything there.

which channel would carry

SB and others, Great idea to broadcast live via TV channel or webcast, or both. Plenty of examples available - check out www.socp.org/archive/2007/3-6-07/index.html (involved in all meetings) and www.ramapo.org/onlineservices/ToRHallArchive62804 (involved in 07/12/07 meeting). Maybe somebody can atleast capture on video and then see how to post it. Regards
