Dear Praja friends, as you already know, these are the days of advisory councils and committees. Their grip is complete, top to down, one advisory council is sitting at national level (NAC), and we also see and hear of a few at the lowest (our city government) level. |

Today while stopping at a signal in Veerasandra Cross/ Hosur Road Junction a transgender approached me for her(his) due. Usually I wont turn up. Today I wanted to talk to him(her). So I offered Rs.10 as a talking fee :). I casually asked if he(she) would interested to help traffic control. The answer was positive but she(he) was hopeless that anyone would co-operate by seeing them. |

The meeting started a bit late. The dignitaries were invited one by one to the dais by Kathyayini Chamaraj, Executive Trustee, CIVIC. Mr. R. Sri Kumar, IPS, Vigilance Commissioner, Central Vigilance Commission was the First. He was followed by the deputy of the actual Chief Guest - Mr. Siddaiah, IAS, Commissioner, BBMP.
