Observation :Now I am using BMTC services almost daily (Mostly route 378) and getting a feel of the BMTC customer facing staff and their attitudes and langauges. I observed at least 25% conductors use rude language by default. What I mean by default is usage of poor language without any provocation by commuter's behavior or age or gender.

Real estate business do not go without corruption. Right from Khatha Extract to Registration to Plan Approval, every stage has corruption. Builders, Contractors, Real Estate Agents everyone is ready to shell out anything to acquire property either legally or illegaly. Enroachment of Government or Private Property is common and cannot be controlled due to corruption. |

Was at the service centre the other day and was discussing ways to improve mileage of cars. One of the thoughts that came up was with the visits to the petrol pump. My habit is to have less than quarter tank full at any refill point(on my daily commute).. |

Today ie., 14-08-2011, I have read an article in the TIMES OF INDIA on the quantum of compensation the Govt. of Karnataka is willing to pay to the farmers who have lost their pieces of land for the formation of Kempegowda Lay Out between Mysore Road and Magadi Road. The Govt. is willing to pay Rs. 1 crore for one acre of land acquired for the above purpose. |

While there have been good inputs of routes and various features like Bus Day and other things going fine there was a huge blow-rise in diesel rates by Rs.3 a litre. Immediately there was a bus fare increase announced by the transport corporations-was this hike seriously necessary?? |

I think the many repeated questions raised about 'Last Mile Connectivity' is more of a creation by the very large affluent private vehicle loving public in this city that loathes walking even short distances to & from bus stops, rather than reality. |
