Plan for ORR and marathalli junction

Hi,

Does anyone know plan on how ORR - Marathalli junction will be made signal free ? I could not find any post in Praja regarding this.

Recently I noticed that ramp from ORR (when you from KR Puram) to Marathalli bridge is being widened to 4 lanes road (two lanes on each direction).

More government hospitals for the city???

In the case of Bangalore, the BMLTA has been instituted, though it is still in the form of a sub-committee of another Committee, as averred by none less than Mr Ravindra, Dy Chairman, State Planning Commission, himself, at the seminar. There is a proposal to strengthen and broad-base it.

"Road Dividers" or "Walls"?

Dear Sir,

     Recently most of the important roads of Bangalore have been made double roads.
     As part of that, "Road Dividers" have been placed in the middle of roads, so that the traffic gets streamlined.
     This is a welcome move and helps.

Digging of roads and improper patch up

The roads in Whitefield-ITPL area were in reasonably good condition after the last asphalting and periodic maintenance works. However the good conditioned roads were spoiled by the pits digged (and left without properly filling/repairing) for laying pipe conduits (for fiber cable ?) underground.
