The main power generation centre, Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS), has been affected as coal suppliers have been demanding KPCL clear outstanding debts and increase pay per load.

Summary: Budget allocation - Rs 3.15 Cr for 40,000 lakes in the state. Karnataka Lake Development Authority has 4 officers and 6 contract employees, 1 vehicle and 1 telephone for the whole state!.
