Ring road through the GKVK

 A 100 feet road through the GKVK will eat away precious green land used for research and hosting many plants and trees. A peaceful suburn will now be swamped by cars and traffic. A University will now have to function with a road running through it.

Plan for ORR and marathalli junction

Hi,

Does anyone know plan on how ORR - Marathalli junction will be made signal free ? I could not find any post in Praja regarding this.

Recently I noticed that ramp from ORR (when you from KR Puram) to Marathalli bridge is being widened to 4 lanes road (two lanes on each direction).

Flyover on Outer Ring Road - Details?

This is my first post on Praja. Does anybody have the plans / designs for the Flyovers that are being built and designs being planned to make the Outer Ring Road "Signal Free"? The current ring road is not very well designed and I am very curious to know what the news plans are and if there was a way to make it better. How does one get hold of such a plan?

One suggestion from Safe Passage folks (CKannan, psaram, sheragu) was to organize a street event at the spot. Lets try it this Saturday (Feb 7, 10 AM). This isn't a protest - no holding-placards or slogan shouting type of stuff. Lets do some street photography, scan the area for all possible violations of (IRC) road building, design, signage standards, discuss solutions on the spot.
