On May 22, BIAL completed first year of its operation. Major news papers have reported on BIAL's 1st anniversary. Going by these news reports, so far BIAL's performance isa mix bag of both positives and negatives. The silver lining is the operators have shown willingness to work with their customers including Industries & commerce. |

I found an interesting tool on the cityfix.com on urban planning. You can plan the real city for 40 years. Our city agencies like BBMP, BMLTA etc can use tools like this and we praja can explore the possibilities. I could not get a chance to get into the tool in detail. From todays TOI " TTMC at Shanthinagar will have one of the city’s largest parking spaces with a capacity to hold 525 cars and 742 two-wheelers." The last time I went to shantinagar busstop was for attending the meeting with BMRCL..There was plenty of parking vacant on a weekday..I am sure its the same case on weekends too.. |
