Department of Urban Land Transportation (DULT) in GOK had called a meeting with all the stake holders of 'Commuter Rail' to discuss the 2012 RITES report on Implementing Commuter Rail Service in Bangalore.

Good News!!!   The Foundation Stone laying function of the railway underpass on whitefield road (near hondacity showroom) was held on 12-7-2012.  Shri. Nandish Reddy, MLA, K.R.Puram performed the pooja for the underpass.

Jeevan Bima Nagar Traffic Police - Monthly meet

This is a regular monthly meeting held at the Jeevan Bimanagar Traffic Police on every 3rd Saturday at 11:30 AM.

It seems about 20 to 30 local residents do attend these meetings.

Three Phases

RITES report has divided all the works that are needed for CRS into 3 Phases. The Phases are 1A, 1B and 2. Each of these have been identified with slew of works to be carried over, cost of works and the time frame to complete the works.
