Advantages of having Metro station infront of Cantonment station :

1.  Multi modal integration  will be missed between Railway, Suburban Rail, Metro, BMTC , Auto, taxi and  accessacibility

Yesterday news articles mentioned starting SPV by DULT with 80:20 contribution of state & IR. That too the phase 1a timeline is prolonged to two years.

Finally we need a crisis of sorts to get the govt machinery started and the CM talking tough about illegal encroachments onto lake areas. Everyone has abused the lakes systems in the worst possible way. So course corrections are necessary and a must!

Railways have no plans to de-congest city railway infrastructure. Last 10 to 15 years, railways did not invest any thing for development in Bangalore.

EESL LED bulbs - quality

I am wondering if the quality of the EESL LED bulbs distributed under the Hosa Belaku Yojane meets any well known standards. 

I tried to dig into the specifications but did not find anything. The email response from EESL was evasive.

Is this another scam?
