Sky-walk, literally

The BBMP, it would appear, likes to impart literal meaning to the term sky-walk. This set (pictures below), coming up at the High Grounds junction (facing the Sophia school, and behind Basava Bhavan), has a ground clearance enough for a BMTC bus to pass under, even with a full grown adult standing erect on top.

 I was reading the news paper this morning.  As is common in the weekend, there was this regular headline which went like "Power Shutdown in Several Areas Today".  The article went on to say that due to 66/11 kV "C" Station Maintenance Work, there will be no power in a large swathe of Bangalore in the general Shivaji Nagar area from 10 am to 6pm.

Though my office is in Electronic City, for a new project I had to visit our company's branch office in GRTechPark, Whitefield  for 3 days. This building is next to ITPL.  I had to take public transport on all 3 days  to reach the office  in the afternoons while the drop back home would be provided on the company cab as it would be late in the night.
