Though this move is welcome, there seems to be an ulterior motive for this move, because the government

The City rulers , over the years , have proved grossly inefficient, by not taking steps to complete the Ring Road which would have absorbed the increase in traffic , especially of trucks and lorries. Let us not do another mistake by hurriedly deciding to cho off all trees.This has never solved problem any where so far.

Mysore City Transport Website

Similar to BMTC website, I find there is no website of Mysore Transport Department. Ideally we should have a website giving details of timings and route details. Also with the recent addition of 16 volvos as city buses, this is all the more important. We need information about volvo bus route maps.

Integrated BMTC Volvo routes map

BMTC has approximately 25 volvo routes. An integrated map over the Bangalore city map would be useful. Or even a plain line-sketch drawing of all these integrated routes would be helpful to plan the commute. Is there any such map available on line? The website btis.in has stopped giving information (tracking) on volvo busses.

 When we visited the KC Valley sewage water treatment plant on Monday the 15^th June 2009 the one thought that struck me was that the product of this treatment plant is infact a black gold. We were told that this material is transported by trucks free of cost. obviously, I thought.

On Wed, June 17, 2009, I did the manual counting of vehicular traffic on the Lalitha Mahal Road between 17:04 to 17:35 hours by standing mid-way/in between the Sangolli Rayanna (Chamundi Hill) Circle and the Lalitha Mahal Road.
