Are two wheelers exempt from traffic rules ? rs - 21-JAN-2010
Hi I've noticed that increasingly two wheelers - essentially motorcycles violate all possible traffic rules. This afternoon I was walking back along 17th Cross road, Malleswaram, which is a one way. A motorcycle rider was about to enter the road and I stopped him, informing him that it is a one way. He said he had to deliver some flowers, so it was okay for him to go that way. |

In an article on Citizen Matters, titled "Bus Rapid Transport for Bangalore, today or tomorrow", Mr. Mohammad Mohsin, commissioner of the BMLTA has invited citizen feedback on BRTS in Bangalore. I sent him a private message via the CM website to come post his query on Praja for thoughtful (and an earful) of responses. |

As expected, slowly 'Take the Bus' campaign is getting highlighted in News media. In coming days we will see more coverage in mainstream media. BMTC sources inform that there are plans for publicity via radio as well. Watch out then for Bus day news in the papers. |
