Vignan Nagar Roads - Miserable

Roads of Vignan Nagar were recently tarred for first time, which reduced mud and diseases to great extent. Shortly after this BBMP dug up all the roads for laying water pipes, leaving no way even to walk for weeks. After lying the pipes, deep holes were filled back with loose mud, leaving Vignan nagar once again in mud and pollution.

Is Service tax applicabe for Monthly Maintenance Charges by Apartment Association?

The Maintenance Charges are collected by Apartment Association which is not a profit making body.

As per law, does service tax need to be collected from Aprtment members?

Is the Service tax appliable to be levied on the maintenance charges? even though the Apartment is maintained by the Association and not by the Builder.

A non-stop Fast Public Transport Service on Elevated Road from Silkboard To Electronic City

A few days back, I had to go to Electronics city with a friend of mine, I rarely go towards that side (Hosur Road) generally. And that was the first time, we took the Elevated Flyover over the Hosur Road. I thought of an idea/suggestion that if a BMTC mini-bus kind of vehicle can just do a to-and-fro from Start of the Flyover (near SilkBoard) and Electronics-City toll-post.

In the run up to Anna Hazare's fast & IAC's drive to the Jan Lok Pal bill one of the key topics that emerged was the kind of politicians & corporators we end up electing. It can be easily proven that this is not a countryside phenomenon and that the BBMP council also has its share of corporators with criminal history or no intention to address civic issues.
