RTI activist murdered, allegedly for exposing unauthorized construction of a bunglow in Talegaon. http://www.hindu.com/2010/01/17/stories/2010011761180800.htm The Hindu bit doesn't mention details of what was being exposed here. I passed by the Whitefield TTMC, which is located near the Vaidehi hospital within the EPIP Industrial zone. Construction is ongoing, in full swing. Once again, I cannot help being disappointed at the choice of location of this TTMC. This is in the middle of an Industrial zone.
